The Power Blossom Youth program offers participants the opportunity to develop their knowledge of flowers, learning to identify various types and their characteristics. Through hands-on experience, they will create art using fresh flowers, and will be taught the skills needed to design and craft their own unique floral arrangements. This holistic approach combines artistic expression with practical skills, fostering creativity and a deeper appreciation for floral art.

❋Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence

Power Blossom youth will work on building and maintaining healthy relationships with themselves and others by exploring interpersonal communication techniques. The program also emphasizes the importance of acknowledging emotions and learning strategies to manage conflict effectively, promoting a balanced and harmonious environment.

✦Business Operations and Budgeting

In the Power Blossom program, youth will gain practical skills in business operations and budgeting. They will learn how to use Microsoft Excel, a vital tool for managing finances, and be taught to create and track budgets in a straightforward and effective manner. This training equips them with essential financial literacy skills, empowering them to manage resources efficiently in both personal and professional contexts.

In the Power Blossom program, youth will actively engage in community service by sharing flowers with those in need.   • The Power Blossom Project's mission is to help youth understand interpersonal communication skills that will help them solve conflicts, share what they learn and stand up strong as future community leaders. We create a safe place for youth to learn about flowers, business, art, and emotional intelligence.

  • Our purpose is to provide tools for personal knowledge that helps youth know how to work towards their goals, understand different ways their emotions are triggered, discover ways to maintain peace. The tools we provide are transferrable and will benefit our youth in personal and professional settings.
